A Superhero Tucks Me In At Night
Let’s face it.
Nobody hands you a manual when your child is born and tells you parenthood is a piece of cake. No, we all get to learn the hard way that parenthood is a fast track to realizing our own limitations as human beings. It’s a good thing our kids see it differently.
In their eyes, we are mighty with the power to calm their fears, heal their wounds and create great adventures.
We are the real heroes of their world and that’s a pretty super thing to remember as a parent.
We don’t even need a cape.

Drew Rodgers
Author & Illustrator
I have been a graphic designer for over 14 years and have always had a desire to illustrate a kid’s book. As a kid, I wanted to draw for Disney and have never lost that love for drawing, animation, and creativity. A Superhero Tucks Me In At Night is my first book to illustrate and co-author. The main idea for this book is really geared toward parents. So my hope is that kids get a good laugh, and parents get a good message.

I have enjoyed creative writing from the time I learned about it. As a kid, if I wasn’t reading I was making up my own stories to entertain family, friends and maybe even a few pets. A Superhero Tucks Me In At Night is my first book to co-author with the talented Drew Rodgers. We hope this book restores your faith and confidence as a parent, especially for those times you see those little faces looking up at you and expecting nothing but your best.
